| When I found Zumba I knew it was the perfect class for me to teach. The creator of Zumba, Alberto (Beto) Perez, designed the program based on the concept that exercise should be "fun". Most people
don't like to exercise, but they love the party….
He took
the exercise into the party, people have a good time, because they do not need to think, we have different
rhythms like salsa, merengue, reggeaton, samba. It's sexy and fun, and it is for everyone, anyone can do it –
men, women, children, grandparents, anyone, that is the beauty about it.
I love to teach
Zumba fitness for 2 reasons. First, it allows me to share my passion for dance and energy for fitness with other people.
Second, it is a total-body workout. The moves are simple and effective, and the music is out of this world. Not only is Zumba an effective cardiovascular workout, it allows you to express
yourself and have fun through dance. You will learn to let go of your inhibitions and feel the passion and energy
in the music.
I will keep you moving the entire hour, burning calories like crazy, that you will forget you are actually exercising.
You will leave my class feeling alive and energized, like you have just left an awesome dance party and cannot wait to

| Your Connecticut Zumba Instructor Lynda Muir holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from the University
of California at Pennsylvania, is certified with AFAA as personal trainer, and holds a NASM-PES, Performance Enhancement Specialist certification.
