About Fitness Trainer Lynda Muir

I love to teach Zumba fitness for 2 reasons. First, because I can share my passion for dance and energy for fitness with other people. Second, it’s a total-body workout.  The moves are simple and music out of this world.  Zumba lets you express yourself through dance. You learn to let go and feel the passion in the music.  I’ll keep you moving the entire hour, burning calories like crazy, that you’ll forget you're actually exercising.  You will leave my class feeling alive and full of energy, like you’ve just left an awesome dance party and can’t wait to come to the next one. What is Zumba
Zumba is a great way to stay physically and mentally fit while meeting new people with similar interests.  It is like no other workout you will ever experience! It is great for the mind, body and soul..... Zumba is based on the principal that exercise should be fun which helps you stick with the program until you get results - the key to long term good-health. It's a feel good exercise program designed with a scorching fusion of world music and spicy dance rhythms.  With its non-stop easy to follow choreography, you’ll burn 500 to 1000 calories per hour, and tone your body from head to toe.

  History of Zumba
  Zumba fitness was created in the mid-90's by
  Columbian native Alberto "Beto" Perez, a celerity
  Fitness trainer and choreographer for int'l pop
  superstars.  Inspired by the traditional cumbia, salsa,
  samba and merengue music he grew up with, Beto
  paired his favorite pulsating Latin rhythms with the
  red hot international dance steps his clients loved
  and Zumba Fitness (Spanish slang for "to move fast
  and have fun") was born!
